First Saturday Market Day, a MainStreet Newnan Event.

Come on downtown to the old courthouse square for First Saturday Market Day. Local artist and crafts people are exhibiting and selling their works for the general public. There are featured local festival food vendors such as Nathan's Nearly Famous Kettle Corn, Your Chef to Go, and Fairywoods Jams and Jellies. Show is from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Parking is along the sidewalk and around the square. Most of the downtown merchants are open as well. Anyone interested in exhibiting can contact the Main Street office at 770-253-8283. But it has got  to be hand made by the artist. Local civic and church groups are welcomed to set up a booth as well.
